I like the update on Resonance and am really, really interested in this game. So I will cross my fingers and keep watching for more news on future progress.

[...] If you, like me, like when developers talk about the development in their games in detail, I have some good news for you. Vince Twelve over at xii games has once again put together another developer diary. And this one is part V (or 5 to you non-Romans) in his series of developers diaries. If you’re interested, you may read more about it if you click here. Come on. Just do it. [...]

Heh, having Nik playing the same room over and over again to plan out music for it is a great way to play test your game! Two birds, one stone.

Oh no! Oh no, SSH.

The new one, in practice is simply stunning. It looks great and fits much better than the old one. And since I've been playing 1 damn room over and over again (sync issues), I can promise you that the GUI works great, in many levels (plus I was unable to find any bugs!!!!! Amazing, ain't it?)

Thanks guys!

And Sergio: The excessive dithering on the red and green boxes is meant to make them look like little LCD displays. Hopefully that comes through! Though I think it's quite clear when you're looking at the whole screen and not just a small slice of it.

Glad to read you're paying a decent amount of attention to UI design, particularly by having people test things so you can make them more intuitive. I think it's definitely important for games to feel accessible to new players as well as experienced ones.

It looks fantastic! My only complaint would be that it's maybe a little over-dithered, but really, don't listen to me. Yes, stop reading this comment now.
