As a special treat for the faithful readers of this blog, I’ve prepared a short video demonstration of Resonance’s inventory and short-term-memory systems! Enjoy!
This looks excellent.
I once planned a similia system for a game. Pity I didn’t make it first :( Looking forward to this game though! Looks beautiful in all respects.
Looks excellent, Vince! I’m especially intrigued by the STM system. That’s a new and different way of doing things. I look forward to seeing how it turns out!
That short term memory looks AWESOME!
I mean, it’s a great way of having REALLY GOOD dialogue-puzzles. Which I love.
Damnit, I want to play this! Any idea when you’re going to release it?
STM/LTM First we had inventory. Then we had Journal. Then we had notepad. But STM/LTM fills the ‘Now what was that thing?’ I love it. Great for adding some RL-ish to the game. (Aural pun intended). Can’t wait for the game to come out.
I usually steer slightly away from most animated games, but this one has so much interesting stuff on screen to check out and possibly use that it got my attention. I don’t know why, but the train scene peeked my interest very fast. I actually wanted to start there looking around and trying to think what there would be usable. Haven’t been on a train for a while, so maybe that’s what did it for me. All I can say is the artwork is nice, love the people of color also and will wait with a tiny bit of patience to see more about this one!
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one nowadays.
I rarely drop comments, however i did a few searching and wound up here xii games » Blog Archive » Resonance Developer&. And I actually do have 2 questions for you if you tend not to mind. Is it only me or does it look like a few of these remarks appear as if they are coming from brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing at other online sites, I would like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of the complete urls of all your public pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

April 11th, 2008 at 9:16Absolutely loving the LTM system!
The style of your game looks excelent as well, although I don’t like the font.
May 30th, 2008 at 7:44STM/LTM, great idea. That takes care of a lot of fuzziness around linking different scenes of a game together, neat.
